Give the Gift of Organization This Holiday Season

It's that time of year. Holiday decorations are popping up, Black Friday is just around the corner. Time to start thinking about what to give all the people on your gift list this year. As you plan your holiday shopping, consider giving the gift of organization. It truly is the universal gift. Literally everyone, be they young or old, male or female, can benefit from a little more organization in their life.

Here are some of my favorite organization gifts (to give and receive) to help inspire you as you plan your holiday gift list. Note: this post contains affiliate links.

Handbag Organizer

While there are tons of great looking bags available most are mainly just large, open pouches into which keys, phones, lip gloss, glasses, and other necessities go to hide. This removable bag organizer comes in 11 colors and five sizes to fit almost any bag.

The organizer has 12 total pockets: 4 exterior and 8 interior. One set of interior pockets is removable to allow for larger items.

Electronics Carrying Case

While we're on the subject of bags, how about this functional travel bag for organizing and transporting electronic gadgets? There are several people on my shopping list who would benefit from this particular organization gift. This handy (yet streamlined) bag is designed to keep charging cables,

headphones, flash drives, memory cards, external hard drives, tablets, and other electronic doodads safe and organized for travel. Great for a student, a business person, or anyone who carries multiple electronic devices.

Charging Station

Speaking of electronics... I don't know about you, but I hate having multiple unsightly charging cords strewn about the house. For people who own more than one device that requires regular charging (i.e. everyone), a universal charging station with multiple ports looks tidy and saves space.
Picture
If you're feeling really fancy an even better option is a wireless charging station. Instead of keeping the cords contained in one convenient location, it does away with the need for cords altogether!

Tile Mate

If someone you love has a habit of misplacing important items (keys, phone, remote control, etc.), then the Tile Mate is the perfect organization gift. Attach the tile to the item and download the Tile app. When the item in question goes missing, just open the app and let Tile find your things for you.
Picture
In the case of cell phones, it will cause your phone to ring, even when it's set to silent. If you have a habit of forgetting where you parked, place a Tile Mate in your car. Instead of wandering the parking lot looking flummoxed, open the Tile app, and it will lead you to your car.

Identity Theft Protection Stamp

I have both received and given this little gadget as a gift, and I love it! It's simple to use and effective. Just run the stamp over any personal information you want hidden. It's tempting to run the stamp back and forth repeatedly, but it isn't necessary.
Picture
A quick swipe back and forth is all it takes to conceal personal information (or any information for that matter). I accidentally covered up a code we needed for a recall on one of our vehicles using the stamp. In my defense, the code was printed directly above my address... There was no deciphering the information. I had to call the company issuing the recall to get the code.  The stamp works! When the ink gets low, replacement cartridges are available.

Label Maker

I can't think of a better organization gift than a label maker. I love mine! I use it all the time both at home and with my organization clients. This little handheld version is compact, lightweight, and portable - the perfect starter model. Printed labels give a uniform look to any organization project and make it easy for everyone to find what they are looking for (and put things back where they belong).

Eyeglass Stand

For your farsighted friends who only need glasses for close work, an eyeglass stand is an excellent organization gift. My husband is in this category. He has about six pairs of glasses which he constantly leaves lying about, and which he can never seem to find when he needs them. Guess what he's getting in his stocking this year? Don't tell.

Eyeglass stands come in a variety of fun styles. Here are a few more cute options to choose from:

Bindle Vacuum Insulated Water Bottle

At first glance a water bottle may not seem like an organization gift, but this is no ordinary water bottle. The bottom of the bottle can be removed to reveal a convenient storage space perfect for storing keys, ID, cash, snacks, and more - plus 24 ounces of liquid!
Picture
The bottle is insulated, so it keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold for hours. The best part about this bottle is that it makes a great gift for anyone - children or adults.

Planner Pads & Sticky Notes

Maybe it's the organizer in me, but I love sticky notes and planning pages. With so many fun, customized versions available these days, there is literally something for everyone.
Picture
I recently participated in a vendor show where I was required to provide a raffle prize. I brought an assortment of organizational pads such as you see here. They were a huge hit!

Ring Holder

Remember the disembodied hand ring holders? Well, thankfully there are many more options available for people who like to take their rings off while they do dishes, knead bread dough, do yard work, or sleep. A fashionable ring holder adds charm to the décor while keeping rings safe.

I know at least two ladies who would love such a gift. Now to choose the right one...

Smart Key Organizer Keychain

This is the organization gift for the person in your life who hates lugging around a bulky, jangly key chain.  The space saving design makes it possible to store up to 10 keys in a slim, compact space. With the keys tucked safely inside the leather case when not in use, there's no danger of catching a key on your clothing or accidentally scratching a cell phone screen with a loose key.
Picture
I hope this list has helped you to find the perfect organization gift for someone on your shopping list. Or maybe you found an item or two you'd like to add to your own wish list... Whatever the case, I wish you a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year.
